the room is cold and for once i don't think you're lying when you say you mean this. but you know how i always am wrong when i try to figure you out. you know you're always the one. you know it but never did care. until now that is. after i've changed my mind. what was it that you're trying to run away from before? what is it that you're trying to find now? i've always been here. you just never look close enough. however cliche that may have sounded. the cigarette scent from your body is enough to suffocate me. in a good way that is. you never make me sick. i don't think you ever will. no, those lights are meant to stay on. you don't have the right anymore. i would have given everything to be your anything. i said, the lights are meant to stay on. don't step closer, i don't want to feel your lips on mine and have you say that all of this was a mistake. i think i heard enough of your insecurity. don't expect me to always take you. this would have to stop tonight. don't touch me. don't press your forehead on mine. don't tell me you need me. don't say it... I love you, too. maybe tonight would end up differently. kiss me, i'm yours.
