Overview of Metropolitan Club
The Metropolitan - located in the city centre - is best known for its indie/alternative nights, especially on Fridays. Live music also features on some nights. With a capacity of 400, the club is often crowded and is a great favourite with the city's students, probably because of the drinks promotions (with drinks often as cheap as £1 a pint). There is no dress code, no age restrictions, and the club has a great atmosphere, with everyone getting down on the dance floor.
