i. when guys just turned into complete assholes when a friend of yours that they like doesn't show up.
ii. when guys who like other girls (e.g. girl 1s) but already have gfs (e.g girl 2s) and get the girl 1s to be their best friends so they could treat girl 1s special without having girl 2s all over their backs for it.
